Welcome to the Darwin & Rural Poultry Club
Thanks:
1. to Litchfield Council for a grant to buy cage fronts and wire to make 20 new standard (large) cages for future shows; and for covering the cost of 34 new folding tables for use in future club shows.

2. to Greg Sinnott, our club Treasurer, who volunteered in 2024 and 2025 to make many collapsible cages for our club. Greg spent countless hours cutting wire and clipping panels together to make many new bantam, standard and turkey cages which we can fold for storage. He will also lead the cage-making workshop in February so that others learn new skills.
3. to the sponsors of our 2025 club show. Without your generosity we could not offer the Champion trophies, sashes, rosettes and prize money that amount to $1300.​
The Darwin & Rural Poultry Club exists to support and encourage poultry enthusiasts of all ages and stages of poultry experience. We encourage networking of our members to share knowledge and experience of raising poultry in the tropics. We also encourage and mentor juniors through junior-focussed workshops and competitions. New members are always welcome. Ideas can be shared with committee members to bring to committee meetings for discussion.
